The BioClean lineup of commercial food waste disposers includes a total of seven models with maximum processing capacities ranging from 5 kg/day to 500 kg/day. They strongly support food waste processing at business sites.

Adopts Acidulo compost decomposition method, which was developed in collaboration with the Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University over many years. No need to add or replace decomposing bacteria (base material), contributing to lower running costs.

Many customers have been using the system for more than 10 years without adding or replacing the decomposing bacteria (base material).

Mechanism of Acidulo compost decomposition method

The BioClean garbage disposer decomposes and eliminates most (85% or more) of the food waste fed into it. A very small amount of decomposed residue becomes high-quality compost suitable for organic cultivation.

Experiments conducted by the Faculty of Agriculture at Tohoku University have confirmed the fertilizer's excellent characteristics, such as weed suppression and increased potato yield.

More than 20,000 BioClean garbage disposers have been shipped for residential use, and more than 70 for commercial use, both in Japan and overseas. (As of October 2013).
